As UNFI continues to enhance the UNFI Insights Data experience via the Simplified Supplier Approach Policy (SSA) the platform has new options now available. These are the Open Payables and Purchase Order dashboards which are active. UNFI’s goal is to provide visibility into open payables balance and open POs to give Suppliers a better understanding of their business with UNFI.
The purpose of the Open Payables dashboard is to provide insight into a supplier’s current Open Payables balance with UNFI. This will consist of all items posted to the account, but not yet paid. You will be able to identify if either region is positive or negative. If the account is positive, you could expect payment to be issued based on discount and due dates. If the account is negative, you would need to connect with your Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) to initiate a reconciliation to resolve the negative balance as the deductions amount exceeds the amount of invoices UNFI has posted. UNFI can help answer questions, provide support, and arrange payment to UNFI to resolve the matter. This dashboard will be updated daily.
The purpose of the Purchase Order dashboard is to provide transparency into UNFI Purchase Orders. The dashboard will show both Open and Received POs, with the flexibility to filter in and out as needed. You will be able to view POs by Original ETA Date, Revised ETA Date, Received Date, Distribution Center Region (Natural view only), Distribution Center, and PO Number. The dashboard provides visibility into received PO’s dating back one year. POs received prior will not be visible.
