UNFI New Sarasota DC Update

As previously announced, UNFI will be replacing their Sarasota, Florida DC (SAR) with a new state of the art facility, also located in Sarasota, (SRQ). With the first ship date to retail planned for this summer, UNFI has begun placing POs for their new DC (SRQ). They will continue to operate SAR up until that transition date. You can anticipate receiving POs for BOTH Sarasota DCs up until the new DC is shipping to retail.

A few things we need you to do to be prepared to receive the initial POs and ship correctly.

• Please add the new Sarasota facility as a shipping point in your PO system.

• If you are an EDI integrated supplier with UNFI add the New Sarasota DC DUNS to your PO system. Failure to do so may result in your PO system not recognizing or processing the PO.

• If you are a pickup supplier, (UNFI manages transportation for your POs) UNFI will be utilizing the freight rates and freight allowances currently in place for SAR.

• Receiving is 10:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M. Sunday Night to Friday Morning
