In August, The Fresh Market and UNFI have collectively decided to transition 49 Stores from the UNFI Natural Richburg, South Carolina distribution center to the UNFI Natural Sarasota, Florida distribution center based on improving routing and service level capability to our Florida region.
As The Fresh Market does not currently operate out of the Sarasota, Florida distribution center, this strategic move provides UNFI the ability to expand capacity for future growth in addition to providing improved service levels to these stores.
UNFI’s teams are working diligently to ensure they make this transition as seamless as possible for your organization. UNFI will keep you posted to any updates as they arise.
