Wake Forest Welcomes Health Wisdom

A new independent health store has opened its doors in Wake Forest, North Carolina, bringing vitamins, supplements, and natural wellness products to a growing stretch of Capital Boulevard. Health Wisdom Naturals recently began serving customers at 11216 Capital Boulevard, Suite 108. The 3,000 square foot shop stocks nutritional supplements, organic bulk herbs, body care products, CBD items, household goods, and skincare products made with naturally derived ingredients. A dedicated room for red light therapy is also part of the business. The store was founded by Steve Long, who spent nearly two decades as co-owner of Harmony Farms Natural Foods in Raleigh before selling that business in 2023.

After stepping away from grocery retail, Long said he continued hearing from former customers looking for guidance on supplements and wellness products. That demand ultimately led to the opening of a new business centered on health products rather than a traditional natural foods market. Unlike a full grocery store, Health Wisdom Naturals concentrates on products typically found in the wellness section of larger retailers. Shelves are organized around dietary supplements, vitamins, organic herbs, and personal care items, with an emphasis on products made without artificial ingredients. The business also offers shipping for customers who prefer to order from home.

Wake Forest was selected after Long spent months searching for a suitable location. The Capital Boulevard site sits within one of the town’s busiest commercial areas, placing the store alongside a mix of retail shops, restaurants, and service businesses that continue to expand as northern Wake County grows. For area residents, the opening adds another option for purchasing specialty wellness products without traveling to Raleigh. Customers can browse supplements, herbs, and personal care merchandise in one location while also scheduling red light therapy sessions offered at the store. Health Wisdom Naturals joins a series of businesses that have recently opened or announced plans for Wake Forest as commercial development continues across the community. While many recent arrivals have been centered on restaurants and national chains, the new store adds a locally owned specialty retailer to the town’s growing mix of businesses.
