Whole Foods Market Coming to Southlake

Whole Foods Market is expanding its North Texas footprint with a new store planned for Southlake, Texas, as part of the Shivers Farm mixed-use development.

Located at 1900 N. White Chapel Boulevard near SH 114, the 40-acre Shivers Farm development will feature approximately 111,000 square feet of retail space, 38,000 square feet of office space and 37 single-family homes. Whole Foods will serve as the development’s anchor grocery tenant and will be the first major grocery store north of SH 114.

Construction on the Whole Foods Market building is getting underway, with recent project filings identifying a roughly 35,800-square-foot store. The current construction schedule calls for work to continue into spring 2027, with the store expected to open later in 2027.

The broader Shivers Farm project is designed as a walkable community destination, including a nearly one-acre park centered around existing heritage oak trees, restaurants and additional retail. The developer is currently negotiating with prospective retailers and restaurants for approximately 49,000 square feet of additional space.

The Southlake location adds another store to Whole Foods Market’s growing Texas presence and reinforces the company’s continued investment in expanding its physical footprint across the state.
