Whole Foods Market Expanding to Frisco

Whole Foods Market has confirmed plans to open a new store in the growing community of Frisco, Texas. A company representative shared on March 17th, “We look forward to serving the Frisco community with high-quality natural and organic products and an unparalleled grocery shopping experience.” Further details about the store’s opening timeline and features have not yet been released.

The new Whole Foods Market will be located within The Mix, a 112-acre development that broke ground in January. This highly anticipated project will transform the former Wade Park property into a walkable district featuring retail, restaurants, residential spaces, and office developments.

“We are excited to begin construction on The Mix and bring this project to life,” said Tim Campbell, Head of Development for The Mix. “This piece of land has been a troubled spot for Frisco for years, and we are happy to create something beautiful and useful here, delivering what the Frisco community has long awaited. The Mix will revitalize this part of the city by incorporating inviting open spaces, striking architectural design and amenities. It will be a beautiful asset to Frisco.”

The city of Frisco has committed substantial investment to ensure the success of The Mix, including $113 million in grants to support its construction. An additional $10 million grant, tied specifically to infrastructure improvements, is designed to accelerate the Whole Foods Market’s timeline for completion.

Whole Foods Market’s arrival in Frisco underscores the city’s growing demand for premium grocery options and aligns with The Mix’s vision of creating a dynamic, community-focused destination. Vendors and industry partners should keep an eye on further announcements as this new location takes shape, bringing fresh opportunities for partnerships and local market expansion.
