Dollar sales are down compared to last year in the Regional and Independent Grocery channel but remain up in all other channels. Unit sales continue to underperform compared to last year across all channels, and ARPs continue their slow and steady growth. Taking a closer look at refrigerated plant-based milk and yogurt products, we can see that there is a trend of dollar decline for almond milk across all but the Natural Expanded channel. Plant-based yogurt sees steady growth except in the Regional and Independent Grocery channel where dollar sales continue to decline. In the past year allergen friendly products have only made up about 4% of new products and about 1% of existing products, but they contribute the most to the innovation index in both natural and MULO channels. Finally, foot traffic saw a slight jump in the middle if August, which could be a result of school starting.
