2024: Partnership with Adopt a Native Elder
Their Mission:
Adopt-A-Native-Elder (A.N.E.) serves to help reduce extreme poverty and hardship facing traditional Elders living on the Navajo Reservation. A.N.E. is a trusted humanitarian organization focused on delivering food, medical supplies, firewood and other forms of Elder support. Respecting the tradition and dignity of Navajo Elders, they create relationships to honor and serve the Elders.
We helped provide funds for Firewood, Food Boxes, Yarn, Medical Supplies, and Food Certificates. These food certificates/vouchers can be used at the local Bashas’ stores. The elders are resilient people, only requiring basic needs such as food, heat, and shelter. By providing food and firewood, they will continue to survive as they have for hundreds of years.
Final Results:
We raised a grand total of $7,686. 100% of the funds raised will be utilized to provide supplies to the Native Elders
THIRD PRESENCE GIVES BACK 5K
2023: Partnership with Living Lands & Waters
Their Mission:
- To aid in the protection, preservation, and restoration of the natural environment of our nation’s major rivers and their watersheds.
- To expand awareness of environmental issues and responsibility encompassing our rivers.
- To create a desire and opportunity for citizens to take an active role in helping to make a cleaner river environment.
Living Lands and Waters needed more boats to continue their mission.
These custom-built canoes are built specifically for Living Lands and Waters and fit 12-15 people.
Our funds helped supply:
- Kevlar Langley Boats + Trailer
- NRS PTC Canoe/Raft Paddles
- Werner Bandit Canoe Guide Sticks
Final Results:
PRESENCE raised a grand total of $21,415 to assist Living Lands and Waters in building their fleet of volunteer boats and equipment.
SECOND PRESENCE GIVES BACK 5K
2022: Partnership with WomenServe & Traditional Medicinals
Their Mission:
WomenServe is a nonprofit that seeks to unlock the potential of women and girls in Western Rajasthan, India by increasing access to water, health and hygiene, education, and economic empowerment.
In these hot conditions, the cultural norm dictates that women and girls must find water for their families.
This means carrying 40-pounds of water on their heads from the nearest catchment pond, carrying it for up to 10 hours a day on their heads.
This is a lifetime burden—physically and emotionally—that women must bear.
Final Results:
Our Annual PRESNCE 5k raised a grand total of $20,659, which was enough to build 20 Taankas in the Thar Desert.

2021: Partnership with Alaffia Foundation
The Education Mission:
Alaffia Foundation builds schools because they believe investing in early education is a powerful way to reduce the disadvantage of low economic status and gender discrimination. Only 1 in 4 children attends a preschool program in Togo, even fewer in rural areas. This makes kindergarten even more critical as a steppingstone out of exclusion from education.
Empowerment through Opportunity
Togo is the 12th poorest country in the world but is blessed with rich natural resources and culture. Alaffia empowers Togolese women and their communities through economic opportunity and community initiatives.
Logistics
Alaffia empowerment programs are managed and carried out by the Togo office of their non-profit organization, the Alaffia Foundation. In Togo, they have a team of 15 dedicated individuals led by Hortense Adjoavi, the National Operations Director, to ensure Alaffia’s policies of complete transparence, honesty and anti-corruption are maintained throughout all the programs. Alaffia’s pledge to fair trade and community empowerment covers all administrative costs, so 100% of all donations go to the cost of building and furnishing schools.

Our PRESENCE Gives Back 5k fundraising raised a grand total of $32,420 to fund the completion of the school.
