LeClair has led the company in an interim capacity since February 2026 while overseeing retail operations, category management, marketing, fuel, pharmacy, logistics and facility services.
LeClair joined BGC in 2019 as executive vice president and chief merchant officer and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2025. During his tenure, he has helped strengthen operations and enhance customer experience across the company’s stores.

“I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve as CEO of Brookshire Grocery Company,” LeClair said. “BGC has a remarkable legacy built by generations of leaders and employee-partners who have remained committed to serving others with excellence. I look forward to working alongside our talented team as we continue caring for our customers, supporting our communities and building a strong future for our company.”
