This year, Natural Grocers is to be a key community sponsor of the 2023 U.S. Gaelic Athletic Association National Finals, August 18th to 20th, in Colorado at the Sandstone Sports Field Complex. With regional clubs and teams across the country, the USGAA Finals will include the national sports of Ireland, including hurling, camogie (a stick-and-ball team sport played by women), and men’s and women’s Gaelic football. The Gaelic Athletic Association Club was founded in 1996 and will host the Finals in Colorado for the second time in the 27 years of the organization, and Natural Grocers is proud to be supporting their community. The USGAA Finals will have 120 teams consisting of over 1,800 adult players and an estimated total of over 2,500 attendees between athletes, coaches and fans. There will be on-site food, drink and clothing retail for sale, and all attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to reduce single-use plastic bottle usage. Natural Grocers is also making entry to this local event more affordable by offering $5 off admission for Natural Grocers employees and (N)power members.
